Route 66 – Northern Illinois

This is a trip on Route 66 through Northern Illinois.
If you have never been on Route 66 it is a blast from the past. I often wonder if the Baby Boomers are the last ones to really appreciate this Mother Road. I remember traveling Route 66 from Joliet, Illinois to Los Angles, California back in 1963 with my parents. Back then it was just a road and all of the roadside attractions just seemed normal.
